Create Game Webpage
The team hosted it on wix.com. It has a basic layout (for now) and has 5 tabs: ‘Home’, ‘Game, ‘Characters’, ‘Downloads’, and ‘FAQs’
• HOME – the main page with a picture of the 5 characters; clicking on each character will navigate to the description of that character • GAME – a page describing everything about the game, including the game rules and how to play it • CHARACTERS – a page describing each character • DOWNLOADS – all documentation relating to the development of the game, as well as the game itself (eventually) • FAQs – a page with a team introduction and a list of frequently asked questions
Compile Scripts
The team discussed the parts of the game that are implemented, and what still needs to be worked on.
The game turn system and the battle system are not fully implemented as at the time of the meeting, and needs to be completed before the mid-point review.
The character parts will be represented by primitive shapes, as the models for them are not scheduled to be created yet.
Update Documents
The team met up to go through the documents one by one to review and to proofread the documents.
The team faced a lot of problems with how to fill up the Technical Documents, so the team discussed the document at length about the various parts of the document.
The team also started working on the presentation slides for the mid-point review.
To-Do List
• Work on the parts of the prototype that are not fully implemented. • Prepare an executable file for the mid-point review, so that the team can run it on the day of the review (for performance purposes) • Update and finalize the documentation.
