Review Game Implementation

The team discussed the current implementation of the game. This week is also another week of Testing, so the team spent a significant amount of time testing the game vigorously. Below is a summary:

• Implemented SFX and BGM master volume controls • The team continued work on implementing the particle effects, and it took up a significant amount of development time due to the various problems faced • Finalized paper versions of the cards were printed and received, so the team was able to test the game with the new cards for the first time • The team decided to disable the graphics for the three card slots once the creature is summoned until the need arises (e.g. when the Swap ability is triggered)

Review Game Bugs

The game had several issues:

• Save game functionality does not work • The particle effects do not collide with the AI. Since the damage is triggered off the collision, the game does not continue as a result. • The animation keeps looping through the idling and running animations, therefore creating a jerky animation sequence

To-Do List

• Fix Options menu • Fix and update the particle effects • Update SFX and BGM • Update and finalize game documents • Update and proofread the website
